West Georgia Unitarian Universalists
Welcome
WGUU is a spiritual community of open-minded people from diverse faiths and beliefs exploring life’s great questions and working for the betterment of our community. We celebrate the worth of all individuals and welcome all who seek a greater understanding of our world to help us build a diverse, supportive congregation committed to the spiritual growth of our community and its members.
In 2025, WGUU became the newest member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
We hold worship services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month in the parish hall of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Carrollton. These lay-led meetings incorporate UU rituals, a lesson, and a short group discussion of the subject. Childcare is available for these services. We also meet on the 4th Saturday of each month for a casual Brews & Views social event and on the 4th Sunday for an adult Religious Exploration class. Plus, there are many other opportunities to engage with our congregation. Please read our newsletter to find out more.
Please note that, while we are greatly appreciative of St. Margaret’s hospitality and generosity, we are in no way associated with St. Margaret’s or the Episcopal Church.
We welcome anyone interested in our group to contact us via email, click the button below to sign up for our email newsletter, or simply join us for any of our meetings. Up-to-date information on our events is also available on our Facebook page.
